Welcome to the official Quebec branch of the Pekiti Tirsia Kali Association (PTTA)
Based on tactics and strategies derived from edged weapons, Pekiti-Tirsia Kali is a complete system incorporating both weapons and empty hands methods.
Black Flag, is a martial arts school dedicated to training the Tri-V methods of Pekiti-Tirsia Kali but not limited to it. We cover different systems and disciplines including the TRICOM combative training modules for law-enforcement and professionnals, the traditional Pekiti Tirsia Doce Methodos with a focus on the art of the blade and full contact stick fighting as part of the Dog Brothers association.

Seb Poirier is the head instructor at Black Flag. With over 30 years of training in various striking, grappling and weapon-based martial arts, and several professional fights in MMA, Seb is a certified instructor in Pekiti Tirsia, TriCom, Jeet Kune Do and Boxe de Rue.

The diversity and complementarity of our disciplines are designed to be relevant to your mission whatever that might be; traditional martial art, self-defense, full-contact stick fighting, or tactical and combative applications for professionals.
Promoting Filipino Martial Arts
We aspire to promote and develop the practice of filipino martial arts in the province of Québec, for both civilians and law enforcement force. Reach out to us if you want to start a study group, join PTTA association or organize a seminar.

Mandala Seb (aka. "Pirate Dog") is the Director of PTTA in Québec and a certified instructor in Pekiti Tirsia, TriCom, Jeet Kune Do, and Boxe de Rue. He is a former MMA fighter and stick fighter recognized as a "Full Dog Brother".
Hoang Minh Pham

Lakan Guro Minh (aka. "Chopstick Dog") is a certified instructor in Pekiti Tirsia, Doce Methodos, Jeet Kune Do, Boxe de Rue, and Dog Brothers Martial Arts and an active DBMA member, "Full Dog Brother" and "Group Leader".
Max Limoges

Lakan Guro Maxime (aka "C-Tinkerer Dog") is a certified instructor in Pekiti Tirsia. His martial arts journey includes Doce Methodos, Iaido (Shodan), JKD, and HEMA. An active stick fighter and is a "Candidate-Dog Brother".
Matthew Dykstra
Instructor
Lakan Guro Matthew is a certified instructor in Pekiti Tirsia and Doce Methodos; a security professional with extensive experience in PKT, Aikido, Muay Thai and JKD and recognize as a "Dog" under the Dog Brothers.
Jim Texier
Instructor
Lakan Guro Jim (aka. "The Organizer") is a certified instructor in Pekiti Tirsia and a seasoned martial artist. He has two black belts in Aiki-Jitsu and Nihon Tai-Jitsu.
Simon Gélinas Beauregard
Instructor
Simon (aka. "Greyhound Dog") is an instructor in Pekiti Tirsia and an active full-contact stick fighter in DBMA. He is recognized as a "Full Dog Brother".
